Aeris also offers certificates of destruction for proprietary wire. Common requests include state/government agencies, insurance companies, research firms and the like.

Secured Box sevice
Aeris’ secure box service includes lockable jobsite/shop hoppers to aid in segregating different grades of wire. Service is commonly within 24-48 hrs of notice. Inquire if your company qualifies for FREE box service.
Grading - Know your wire
Aeris offers great value, but it’s always up to you! Preparing your wire for sale is where the value is determined. Give us a call. We’d be glad to help you prepare your material. Mixing too vast a size range or including alloyed (tin or lead clad coating) copper wire or bi-metal wire (Alum/Cu) to mingle with clean copper will actually decrease the value dramatically.
It is best to segregate all of your alloyed wire and bi-metal wire from the rest. Call for rates on alloyed and bi-metal wire.
Speaking to wire that yields copper only. No Alum. NO STEEL.
Since copper is bought on a percentage of recovery, it can be hard to know what types can go with others. Aeris consults with our clients to create a plan and offer specific grading direction tailored to the their needs. Again, when in doubt, call it out! Call and ask the question. You may be very glad you did.
